Buddha & Lotus

Detail
The first Buddha piece. All in all, I think it turned out well. The snail curls on his noggin are great! With a little work, and luck, this is the first pattern in my buddha/hindu-themed pattern book. Next, I will do some simple lotus blossoms. I have an idea for a reclining buddha, based on the statues throughout Thailand and Cambodia (a friend visited, and graciously gave me a disc of photos) and simpler Ganesha piece than the one I did a couple years ago.
I want to sell these, and keep them at a reasonable price. With that in mind, I opened an account at http://www.etsy.com under the moniker “glasswench”, so check it out in a week or so. I do not have anything listed on it as of today. Still need a really good photograph of the piece, plus I need to get shipping prices figured out.
More to come later… I am still farting around with the setup of this site.
UPDATE: I have tis posted for sale on Etsy.com now. You can see it (and buy it!!) here.
This is wonderful. I have wondered how to do those beads in his hat. You have the perfect solution.
Hi Kelli, this is the 2nd pattern that I am interested in; the other question is – where are you located? Do you sell the materials? Do you offer classes?
I’m not sure i still have this pattern. i’ll check tonight, and get back to you. also, i’ll have to see what hoops i have to jump thru to ship to canada. i’ll contact you privately thru email for your mailing address. I am located in northern California. I do not sell supplies, I am a hobbyist. I do not offer classes, per se. I taught a class earlier this year, and will probably do so again later this year.
ok, thanks, will wait for your email.
Hi Kelli, have you found the pattern? Also, if it is too much trouble to ship to Canada; I can provide you with a Kinek pick up location in NY for you to ship to, I will drive there to pick up. Thanks again, Clarisse
