love affair with stained glass

I think this is a case where I over-thought the glass. I had been saving this piece of glass for a special project. It was a gorgeous mixture of greens and pink/purples, with some white mixed in. I ended up using it for the outline on this tulip piece. I really love the pattern, but I think my color choices do not do the design justice. In the pattern book, they had it done in strong jewel tones and it looks better.

But!! I gave it to my mom because she loved it, and she still loves it, so I should just shut up =)
