hello 2015

ah, Sunday…. Have I mentioned how much I love sunday? no? well, i love it lots. it is a no-work, no-way day. In theory, at least. I do end up cleaning some house on sunday, usually because it is making me crazy by then.

So, what’s up with glass for the year? well. I think its to be a no more commissions year. we will see how that flies… I have my doubts. I am working on a cross commish right now, and have 3 (?) in the pipeline (doggies, tree and butterfly), and that will take me thru July. Hopefully it won’t actually take me til July to do them all. As is usual for post christmas, i am a tad burnt out. and, as is usual, i want to do some smalls and just chill out. I also have a long list of things that I want to do, just for fun… christmas themed stuff, some heart things for valentines day (that’ll never happen, lol.) and then the stuff I want just for me.

I sold my beloved Sunflower piece this year. It went to a good friend, and a lovely person, who had admired it in my window some time ago, so I am happy with it’s new home. I have a gorgeous pattern for a new one, but I need to find the time to do it. It is going to be an ass-kicker, lots of little pieces in that center part. and it is overlaid with a adorbs little bee. then there is Mucha’s Moon piece that I’d like to attempt for myself.

So, as you can see, lots of things on the horizon. Also, there is the dyeing… shirts for now, but hopoefully yoga pants, ponchos and organic cotton sheets for summer.

blue violet front detail 1 for now,  i’ll leave you with some lousy photos of my latest palette cleansers, lol. it has been overcast, and I just haven’t been able to get well-lit photos, the curse of winter…

  1. Nice to see an update and your plans for the year. That site has some lovely poppy panels, it will be fun to see what you do.
